Our favorite this summer was a Big Bird Special. Sunflower nut butter, chocolate chips, sunflower seeds and thinly sliced apples on Whole wheat mini pita. The kids loved them.

Stumbled onto your sight and loved it!!! Since my son is allergic to peanuts, we use soynut butter.....One of his favorites is a toasted soynut butter, sliced strawberries, with cream cheese sandwich. His second favorite is what we call a greek sandwich, I toast the bread, spread the cucumber spread, lay cucumbers, kalamata olives, thinly sliced grape tomatoes, some lettuce, spread a little more of the cucumber spread on the opposing slice of bread and TADA!! Greek sandwich =) Since we live so close to the border, I also make him soynut butter, honey and banana "burritos". We've tried mango, kiwi (doesn't hold up well in sandwiches or burritos)apples, cuties oranges, pineapple slices, (drained)and a variety of other ingredients, including veggie bacon, and tofurkey. They hold up pretty well........and add a variety to a kid or husbands day.
